Picnics. That's what this red and white checkered shirt reminds me of, so I took inspiration from that idea. One of my favorite foods at picnics is watermelons (they are just so JUICY and delicious!! Absolutely irresistible!), so I decided to create a "winter watermelon" look. I must say I am quite pleased with the outcome- the colors are so superb together (honestly, at first I was worried it might come off too "christmas-y" but am very thankful it did not) and made me feel fresh and new. I felt like it was a wonderful direction to take in welcoming and celebrating a forthcoming spring (which by the way, could you hurry up spring? I am longing for warmer weather!!). Hope you all like it as much as I did!
